Andrea joined the Heaven at Home team in May of 2024. Originally from the east side of the state, Andrea moved to Grand Rapids in 2010 to pursue a degree from Kendall College of Art and Design. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in May of 2014.
After working 10 years in her chosen career field of graphic design, Andrea was looking for something that would give her more purpose in life. While she still works with graphic and web design clients in her spare time, she became interested in animal aftercare after her two beloved pets, Flapjack and Bun Bun, passed away just 4 months apart. Heaven at Home took care of both her pet’s aftercare, which introduced her to Aquamation.
Andrea currently has two orange tabby cats, Newman and Otis, as well as a large freshwater fish tank with a variety of fish species. In her spare time, Andrea loves to cuddle her kitties, bake, cook, and craft – anything artsy! She also loves spending time with her husband, Eric, in the garage, tinkering on old motorcycles or refinishing furniture.
