Dr. Laura Boge grew up in Canton, MI, and attended Michigan State University for undergraduate and veterinary school. She moved to Western Michigan following veterinary school in 2000 and worked in small animal general practice and emergency medicine for many years. She developed an interest in providing painless and peaceful end of life care and joined Heaven at Home in February 2024.
Dr. Boge lives with her husband, who is a large animal veterinarian, 3 active boys, two cats, a dog, a snake, and fish aquarium. Her family has hosted foreign exchange students five times and greatly enjoys the experiences it has provided. Dr. Laura is an avid runner and enjoys working out, reading, puzzles, and travel in her spare time. She also enjoys attending her kids’ many extra-curricular activities and volunteers for her local weekly food distribution.
