Barbara grew up on the East side of the state and moved to Grand Rapids in May 2022. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saginaw Valley State University and is currently applying to veterinary school.
Barbara has worked in the veterinary field for several years, from general practice to specialty surgery and ER. She has a passion for geriatric hospice care and end of life, and hopes to provide comfort to those going through such a difficult time. She joined the Heaven at Home team in June 2023. Currently, Barbara’s babies include a senior pittie mix – Chance; two kitties – Tom & Nyx; a bearded dragon – Jojo; and her rose-hair tarantula – Bean! When Barbara gets a day off, she enjoys baking, yoga, and drinking coffee.
