Paula joined the Heaven at Home team in February of 2023. She grew up in the woods, east of Grand Rapids, and has always been an animal lover – from domestic rabbits, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and horses, to rescued baby bunnies, flying squirrels, and catch-releasing garter snakes. As a youth, she was active in Kent County 4H as a participant, and as an adult was an equine club co-leader for many years while her daughters were participants at the Lowell fairgrounds. As a certified life coach, Paula is grateful to be able to support families in the difficult choices they face with their furry family members and to be part of a compassionate and loving practice with Heaven at Home.
Newly empty (human and fur) nesters, when they are not hiking, mountain climbing, skiing, adventuring, or spending time with kids, grandkids, grand pups, grand cats, and grand chickens in Michigan and Colorado, Paula and her hubby have just started fostering rescue kitties.
