"The most amazing, calm, respectful, caring way to say goodbye to our little buddy. One of the toughest days ever but we all feel good about how we went about it. Such an amazing service you provided ❤️ thank you so much"

We’ve been attached since day one of you being dropped off to me in 2010. You didn’t have the greatest start to life but you ended with a pretty amazing one.
You’ve lived with me in countless apartments in Chicago, moved all the way to Austin TX, traveled for the better part of a year in an RV all over the country, and turned into a MI farm dog. You’ve dipped your paws in both the Atlantic and Pacific, visited the Grand Canyon 3 times, dined on ribs in a restaurant in Memphis, and relaxed in the sun in Terlingua among the javelinas.
For a long time I thought you would be my only baby but then all of a sudden you weren’t. Twice. Everyone was so scared you wouldn’t do well with kids but you proved them wrong and were the absolute best dog brother to ever live.
Hooper is going to miss her best buddy… she was the perfect dog to adopt for you and you’ve been inseparable since the very first second she came to live with us.
You’ve sunk your teeth into a person here and there but that’s okay… some of them deserved it.
You weren’t the easiest dog but you were easy with me. And the girls. I love you so much little Banjo.
Life won’t be the same. I don’t know if there will ever be another dog to leap through the air and steal a slice of pizza out of my hands just as I’m about to take a bite, or poop on my pillow in the middle of the night, or wrap their little paws around my arms while holding them but I’m glad I had you. I would rescue you again a thousand times.
