Baxter, you gave me 18 years and 10 months of loyalty and devotion. These last five years have been challenging, but we fought everything together. It was ALWAYS a good day to be a dog. We managed to take control of your seizures, ear infections, shot reactions, heart issues, liver enzymes, and your loss of hearing and sight. But we couldn’t overcome your progressive lack of mobility. I am so blessed to have had the best dog EVER! The house is so empty without you. Even Little Orphan Andy misses you. I had no idea a cat would grieve like he is. I know you’ll be waiting on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Look for me on the yellow band. RIP Baxter Theodore McDuff.
In Memoriam: Baxter
By Becky Hoxworth, published on August 8th, 2024"Dr. Kim Barnes was the best. She had genuine compassion for everyone and treated Baxter with dignity and respect. I will never regret the decision to have Baxter's passing at home. It was serene, problem free, and intimate. I strongly recommend making this choice and using Dr. Barnes."
