Bella was born on June 6, 2009. She is a beagle/boston mix, a boggle!! Bella loved people and pets alike. She was wonderful with children. It was impossible to go for a walk without several children stopping to say “hello” and ask if they could pet her. She had the sweetest brown eyes and the softest floppy ears which flapped in the wind when she excitedly would stick her head out the window to feel the wind during car rides. Bella also enjoyed cuddling up on my lap and sharing peanuts by the bonfires on our Fourth of July camping trips.
Some of her other favorite things are swimming in the lake and pool, going for a kayak ride, and laying on the couch like a sloth. Sometimes we’d take naps together on the porch swing. Bella enjoyed a good spa day that usually included a bath in the kiddy pool, drying up in the sun, ear cleaning and nail trimming. She’d enjoy a nice treat afterwards. Bella will be missed by family and friends, but mostly me since we shared such a special bond since the day she picked me at the pet shop. I will forever cherish the memories we made together as the best of friends, but more than friends, she is family! Thank you God for such a precious gift and countless good times with Bella.
In Memoriam: Bella
By Ana Jansen, published on May 2nd, 2025"My experience with Heaven at Home was more than I can describe in words. It was a feeling that they so genuinely and sensitively brought to a most meaningful moment. We are so grateful for Dr. Katie Tillman. She was more than what I asked for in prayer. She was so gentle and caring. She spoke just the right words. I’m so glad I was led to choose Heaven at Home. It was a gift for all of us to bring such peace to Bella. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to make such a difficult moment a beautiful one. "
