Bob came into my life when I was living alone and quickly became a sure companion. He was a stray that a neighbor had taken to c-snip and kept talking about how great this male cat was and that, even though I had allergies, I should at least try taking him in. I never looked back. He made 2 big moves with me cross-country, not to mention multiple apartments and homes. He became quick buddies with the guy who eventually became his human dad and, in 2018, he begrudgingly accepted a dog-sister into his life, which brought out some grumps but mostly he was his sweet, floofy self throughout the journey. Bob was never a lap cat, always preferring to smoosh up as close as possible to his humans’ side and would take ALL the pets. He enjoyed many a deep window well, sunbathing for hours, and absolutely loved all the catnip-stuffed knitted toys his grandma made him. We’ll miss his sweet little sighs and his weird gutteral meows. In the end, Doctors Hoss & Hamm made his last few moments on earth very comfortable. We’ll always be grateful for their gentle care of our sweet boy.
