Our family welcomed Butterscotch and his sister, Princess, into our home as kittens after their mom had sadly passed away. Butterscotch was named by Ben…he had the name picked out before he even saw him, but it fit him well, as he was a beautiful orange and white boy.
Butterscotch was a bit more outgoing than his sister, but he was always there to help her adjust to their new life. He enjoyed cuddling on any lap that would welcome him.
He blossomed into a gentle giant. We would often talk about how big of a cat he was and how petite his sister was.
Throughout the years, Butterscotch and Princess gained a few brothers (Domino & FurrFurr). Butterscotch continued his streak of being a great big brother. He loved to cuddle up next to them & was content watching them chase each other around the house. His favorite spots were either laying in the sun or in his bed with his favorite toys, Tweets & Mouser.
Scotchie would outlive his brothers & his sister. Over the last few years, he welcomed a new batch of siblings and, in true Scotchie style, was patient & kind to all. He was the best mentor & friend.
We will miss our sweet boy, with the flame pattern on his forehead and cute orange tip on his white tail. He truly was one of the best and we were blessed to share this life with him.
❤️ Rest easy, Big Scotch…We Love You!

By The Ryan Family (Dave, Jodi, Ben & Baylee), published on July 11th, 2025"Dr. Amy was truly amazing. She was so patient, kind and compassionate. She not only made sure Scotchie was comfortable, but us, too. She explained everything to us and made this process so much easier. You all are angels for helping families during these difficult times. ❤️"
