Hazel was 12 weeks old when we brought her home, and she passed away just before turning 12 and a half. Her illness came on suddenly, and our vet discovered a large tumor on her spleen. Her family loved her deeply, and she had a special bond with her momma. Her two brothers and two sisters would often joke that Mom loved Hazel the most. Hazel loved to cuddle and always wanted to snuggle under the covers. She loved kisses on the cheek and belly rubs. At night, she would cozy up next to her momma, as she held her paw they drifted off to sleep. Hazel enjoyed adventures, whether it was riding in the car, sailing with her family, or going for walks, sometimes in her stroller. She will always be remembered and cherished by everyone who knew her. I will miss you and love you always, my sweet girl.
In Memoriam: Hazel
By Tracy Shupick, published on November 22nd, 2024"Iām so thankful for Heaven at Home. My Hazel had the comfort of being in her own home surrounded by those that loved her. I am truly grateful for Dr. Tillman. She was so kind and explained everything step by step. "
