"Words cannot express how thankful I am for Heaven at Home and the service you provide! It was such a hard decision to let Curby go and I refused to let him go at the vet's…"
My wife and I adopted Curby from an animal rescue along with Autumn, a female mix that was much older than he, but cared for him like he was her own puppy. Curby was just 6-9 months old. That was in Jan of 2006. We soon found out that he was born with bad hip dysplasia, but that never stopped Curby! His favorite toy all his life was a bright orange rubber ball, and his… Read The Rest of This Memorial

July 9 was one of the hardest and saddest days of our lives as we had to say goodbye to Boo. He left us and made his journey across the rainbow bridge. He was a month shy of his 11th birthday. There are no words to thank Dr. Brush from Heaven at Home who came to our house and allowed us to honor, grieve and come to a place where we could lovingly let Boo… Read The Rest of This Memorial

Our sweet, handsome boy passed peacefully at home last night with the help of Dr. Brush. He was a Bernese Mountain Dog who would have been 14 years old September 11. He was given to me after I was divorced and I credit him for saving my life after the divorce and helping me to learn to live and love again. I remarried 4 years later to a wonderful man who became the best daddy… Read The Rest of This Memorial
"Wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge where there is always warmth and sunshine which was your favorite. I can picture you in my head running full speed again like you used to, grass flying up…"
Shia was born in May of 2003. Mom and Dad found her at a Puppy Half Way House in Greenville. Her and her sister came out and Shia be-lined for mom and dad while her sister went straight for the food. It really is true that they choose you. It was meant to be. She even fake puked and they got her cheaper, although looking back with what we know now, they would have paid… Read The Rest of This Memorial
"In lieu of flowers and milkbones, Bear would like you to adopt a senior pet from your local shelter."
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Bear, Bearinga, Bear Soup, Bearcephus.... after Degenerative Myelopathy and a necrotic mass became too difficult for his day to day. He was born in July of 2000 and lived to a ripe age of 15.5, the last 3+ years of which we got to be his people. He enjoyed car rides with the windows down, romping through the woods, face… Read The Rest of This Memorial

On September twenty-fourth, the Huyge Family said goodbye to their life-long friend Zoe, who was a playful yellow lab mix. Zoe raised both the Huyge children, Alex and Megan, into adulthood. Alex was in second grade when the family adopted their furry friend. Zoe lived to be sixteen years old, a very long and joyous life with the Huyge's. "The photo is of Smokey enjoying the warm sun on her belly"
Smokey was a twelve-year-old domestic medium hair cat who was loved until her last day by her owner, Lenny, who sent us this memorial: Smokey was my first pet. I remember her at six weeks old, feeling her breath on my hand, wondering if I would be able to protect that fragile life. And twelve years later the frustration of being helpless with the oral cancer diagnosis. She was sort of a one-man horse in that I was the… Read The Rest of This Memorial
"The photo is of Kelsey's last trip to Lake Michigan."
Kelsey was a beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever now dearly missed by the Dunn Family, who sent us this memorial: "I just want to thank you again for coming to our house and putting our dog Kelsey to rest.
