Our sweet Benson🩵 Benny came to us as a baby when our first Golden was diagnosed with cancer. He was our joy during the heartache of losing Gunner. Benson did not know how to keep his tongue in, he kissed and kissed everyone he was close to, stranger or family. He was joy and silliness, loyal and a best friend. He loved fruit snacks, swimming in the creek, and cornering small animals under rocks. We are heartbroken to say goodbye to him. Sweet Paula helped me over the phone and was so kind and compassionate when I could hardly get the words out that it was time. Dr. Katie came to our home and was the most tender and caring with us. She was patient and explained everything so well. She was not at our home to do a job, she was at our home to be a kind helper, a compassionate friend during an excruciating time. Thank you Katie, we are forever grateful for your kindness.
