We adopted Hank at a time when we were ready to move forward together as a couple, and he lived his life as our precious child. He started out as a city dog- getting comfortable with street walking and meeting other dogs and people, while loving the occasional visit to his grandma’s house with a big backyard to play ball in. Hank went to work with his mom, greeting customers and helping soothe fellow clients at the grooming salon as they waited for their haircuts. As he got older, he got to become an attendant to the dog-sitting that his family started to offer. Throughout his life, Hank always showed enthusiasm for play, outdoors, cuddles, and eggs (his special meal). He was always a sweet boy who loved listening to music, and he opened a lot of people’s eyes to how wonderful a small dog can be. We miss him dearly and will always love him.
In Memoriam: Hank
By Hannah and Alec Wright, published on September 29th, 2025"Heaven at Home helped us feel as comfortable as possible making the most difficult decision of our lives. Saying goodbye to Hank in our home, surrounded by his blankets with a softly spoken, well-experienced vet who was willing to give us time and space was exactly the experience we all needed. I am so grateful we had that opportunity."
