Adopted my sweet Jilly from a rescue at 8 weeks old, she was my best friend, confidant, loving companion for 14 years (and 20 days). She most loved being snuggled right next to me, or on my lap as she assumed she was a lap dog, although she weighed 75lbs. Her second favorite thing was giving kisses, she would lick until you made her stop! Loved trail walks in the woods, playing fetch, although she didn’t like giving the ball back, always had to have a second ball to coerce her into giving up the first one. She was the most precious baby and I love her so much still.

While my heart broke, it was the most peaceful, loving experience for Jilly. She was calm and relaxed the whole time, the staff was wonderful, so respectful, explained what was happening throughout the entire process, gave our family the time we needed with her and cared for my sweet baby.
