Dr. Chrisman grew up in Greenville, Michigan. She attended Ferris State University where she obtained a BS in biology. She then attended Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2020 with her DVM degree. Dr. Chrisman has worked in small animal general practice since graduation. She has a special interest in feline medicine and has developed a passion for end-of-life and palliative care in her veterinary patients. Dr. Chrisman is excited to join the fantastic team at Heaven at Home!
In her spare time, Dr. Chrisman enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, Dean. Her favorite thing to do is get lost in a good book! Dr. Chrisman also shares her home with three wonderful kitties that she rescued in undergrad and vet school: Autumn, Summer, and Iris.
