Sweet Maisie was a sweet, stubborn, and smart PWD who loved to swim – especially up North in Lake Charlevoix. I loved the way she curled herself into a “C”, wagging her tail and grabbing the nearest toy when I got home from school every day. She knew almost everyone in the neighborhood – dogs and people – and always had to stop to say hello. She was in my life for 13.5 years and I miss her terribly. Dear Maisie, I hope you’ve found some wonderful celestial lakes where you can swim to your heart’s content!

I felt like they walked with me through this journey and difficult decision to finally say goodbye. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by family in the comfort of our home and Maisie felt so comfortable - this was especially important after the many visits to vet offices in the last months.
