We got Monster in May of 2011. He was named when we got him. He was absolutely NOT A MONSTER! Funny story, we were at the dog park and I was calling out for him “Monster, Monster!!” as it was time to go. I didn’t realize until noticing people looking at me oddly that ohhhh there’s no MONSTER, its his name. Hardest thing ever to lose a fur baby of 15 years. His health was declining he just couldn’t walk anymore. It was time to let him cross and run free. Our (my) heart is just shattered. Its only been 5 days and I still “feel” him in the house, next to my bed and hear him. Missing you forever – Momma loved her boy!!
In Memoriam: Monster
By Sarah, Brad and Avery Ruch, published on August 10th, 2026"Heaven at home was recommended to me by a friend. It was as Beautiful of an experience can be when having to make the best but HARDEST decision ever for your fur baby! Monster deserved to cross from the comfort of his own bed in his living room surrounded by his family. "
